bio
I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University studying human-computer interaction, visualization, and social computing. I am affiliated with the HCI group.
I completed my Ph.D. at Berkeley in the Visualization Lab. Over the years, I’ve worked at (Xerox) PARC, Microsoft Research, IBM Research, and Tableau Software.
I also created the prefuse and flare visualization toolkits.
